About Francesca Pollet of Cleveland
Francesca Pollet of Cleveland was born and raised in Italy, where the vibrant culture and scenic landscapes of her homeland shaped her early years. Growing up, Francesca developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of language and communication, which ultimately became a guiding theme in her life. A bright and motivated student, she pursued a degree in Foreign Languages at the prestigious University of Venice. Immersed in a multilingual environment, she laid the foundation for her future as a skilled linguist and culturally savvy professional.
While studying at university, Francesca balanced her academic pursuits with an active lifestyle. She worked as a swimming instructor and lifeguard at her local pool, combining her love of the water with a strong sense of responsibility and discipline. This early work experience instilled in her the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and adaptability—qualities that would serve her well in the years to come.
After completing her degree, Francesca’s passion for exploration and cultural exchange led her to Amsterdam, Holland, where she worked as an au pair. Living in Amsterdam in her mid-twenties was a transformative experience. Immersed in Dutch culture, she further expanded her linguistic repertoire, picking up conversational Dutch and honing her adaptability as she navigated life in a new country. The experience deepened her understanding of the power of communication in bridging cultural divides.
Upon returning to Italy, Francesca transitioned into a dynamic career in the eyewear industry, first as an account manager and later as a sales manager. Her work required an intricate understanding of both the product and the customer, as well as the ability to build and nurture relationships across different markets. Her role demanded sharp communication skills and a natural flair for connecting with people—attributes Francesca possessed in abundance.
Life took an exciting turn when Francesca met and married her American husband. Their union brought her to California, where she settled in the picturesque community of Corona del Mar. In December 2010, Francesca embraced the role of motherhood with the birth of their son, a milestone that brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life. Dedicated to creating a loving and supportive environment for her family, Francesca poured her energy into building a vibrant network of friends and immersing herself in her new community.
